
The English Consul VFD welcomes all interested
members to come and join the fire house to serve the community. All
members are treated equally as we are a 100% volunteer station. All
members have the equal rights and always treated with respect. To
become a member all you need to have is an interest in Emergency
Medical Services, Fire Fighting, or just help our Association. You
need to be over 16 years of age (with parent consent for <18 yrs) to
become an active member. If you are under 16 years of age (& above
6), you can join our Junior program (with parent consent). You can
select one or a combination of the following membership options.
Membership Options:
1. Fire
2. EMS
3. Association
To become a member:
1. Download , fill in, and bring the New Membership Application to
the station.

2. Pay the $40.00 fee for the New Membership Application. ( $5 dues
fee, $35 drug test fee).
3. Do the drug test on any day you like at Quest Diagnostic (already
paid for). Drug test results are often received after 3 business
days after you perform the test.
Once you complete
the above criteria. You can come to the station and socialize with
all members to have them get to know you. Your membership will be
voted on the following company meeting after you drug test
result has been received. Company meetings are held on the 2nd and
4th Wednesday night of every month. You will be voted on for a
probation membership for six months. Then, you will be voted on
again for a permanent membership.
Please keep in mind that you need
to be in an active status, pay your dues, attend half of the company
meetings, participate & help out with at least 4 annual events and earn the declared annual points to
maintain your membership for the following year and the years after.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR
